Being an expert requires knowledge, experience and the capacity to give guarantees to the owners of works of art which they bring for estimation to someone who must deserve their confidence.
Bernard Dulon is a member of the Compagnie Nationale des Experts, Syndicat National des Antiquaires, and assessor of the Commission de Conciliation et d’Expertise Douanière. He has also been a member of the Appraisers Association of America. He is regularly called in by auctioneers for prestige sales (Bellier , Berjonneau, Wininski and Havenon collections).
He is acknowledged and respected by his colleagues who appointed him to draw up the regulations concerning the expertise of the primitive works of art for the 19th Biennale des Antiquaires. He regularly sits at the expertise commission for the great Parisian shows (Pavillon des Antiquaires, Biennale des Antiquaires…)
The certificates he issues serve as a guarantee by which he assumes his responsibility. And last but not least all these operations take place with the utmost confidentiality and there is no preliminary commitment.
